Results Guide
Reading the Yellow Side (Bacteria)
Few colonies (0–20) → Low contamination / clean water!
Moderate (20–100) → Moderate bacterial presence, concern for retest confirmation
Heavy (100+ / covered) → High bacterial load; water is microbiologically active
Unlike mold, bacteria species are hard identify visually. Our test allows for more than a yes/no result. However, not all specific IDs can be made. Scroll down to view mold ID information.
